01WAR

A 20-minute battle
over bases.

Two sides: the Union and GIO. Take the bases spread over the map; the side that brings the enemy's war gauge to 0 wins. Shooting down XS and attacking the headquarters both drain the gauge.

02FACTIONS

Whose flag will you fight under?

A Union raid machine
FACTION A

Union

Straight-edged armor and visored heads. They push the front line forward with shield and rifle, head-on.

A GIO raid machine
FACTION B

GIO

Round heads and thick power pipes. Axes, claws, arms that reach out. An army of quirky machines, many of them amphibious.

03XS

80 machines called "XS".
Each with its own role and weapons.

Raid, heavy, support, sniper, artillery. Every machine has weapons of its own, and their variants perform differently. A shield is a real object on the arm: it disappears when it breaks, and you can take it off to be lighter.

ROSTER / 20 OF THE 80

04MELEE

More than 15 melee styles.
Each swings differently and leaves a different opening.

01Twin blades
02Spear
03Extending claws
04Fists
05Shield bash
06Twin solid swords

FLINCH / STAGGER / KNOCKDOWN ― how you hit decides how the enemy loses balance.

05HANGAR

Fight, earn,
draw and build up.

Your place in a match earns funds; funds draw blueprints, and blueprints develop machines and weapons. The gacha uses in-game funds only. It cannot be drawn with real money.

06MAPS

More than 30 battlefields in the making.

A canyon, a harbor, a snowfield base, a jungle, a two-level city, the inside of a colony, a fortress in space. Placement and routes are checked so both sides get the same conditions.

07ISLES

Between battles,
live on the islands.

Take a lot on the islands out at sea, walk around as yourself, build a house, and cross from island to island by boat. Same account as the XS battles: go straight there from the lobby.

08HOW IT IS MADE

It is made a little differently, too.

A

Anyone can run
a match server

Battles run on match servers that volunteers host on their own PCs. Accounts and records stay with the central server; a match server never touches your password.

B

Machines are built
in a browser editor

The "XS Editor", where you assemble a machine from head, body, arm and leg parts, is open to everyone. You can post what you make and show it to others.

C

Built every day,
together with AI

Development is done together with AI (Claude). What was made and what was thrown out is shown as it is in the dev log videos.

In development,
until the day of the sortie.

We are looking for testers. If you are interested, send a DM to X (@416gamedev).

This game is made out of respect for a large-scale battle game we once loved.
We study how it played, and to respect its rights, every design, picture and sound is made from scratch.
